why did they even get the consideration they did b4 the season? i cant remember one non-major conference school getting any national title pub either, it was always, "alabama can lose 2 and they are still in title game ahead of the lesser undefeated". and considering the big 12 has been out of consideration as well why did the oklahoma win mean so much ? i guess espn agenda, around the horn is all women now, guess they needed a weak team in the mix

semi-hindsight.......... but i would think michigan/ohio state, alabama/SEC, ACC/Louisville/Clemson/FSU and washington had 4 spots.

if washington runs things, then i don't there WAS room for undefeated houston................. one thing though is that washington has a comically easy out-of-conference schedule so maybe undefeated houston sneaks past 1 defeat and pac 12 champion washington...

alabama can afford 2 losses, win SEC championship and make 4 team playoff.......... but is there any other 2 loss non-SEC West champion team that would have precluded undefeated houston from getting in?
