McCaffery will score at least 21 points. The other players should be able to score 28 together.

KSU's offense is garbage and Stanford is breaking in another QB (albeit a senior) after Hogan. I see a low scoring game in the first half and then Stanford will enforce their will in the 2nd half with their offense on the field a lot, depleting KSU's defense. I'm on Stanford pretty large in this one. I see a 28 - 10 type game.

Why?
Because all the squares bet it down from 55 1/2 over the months since its been out.
Sharps are on the Over. I got 48 cause I figured it wouldn't go any lower.
Feeling very confident.

What makes you say that the squares are betting it down? Couldn't they be sharp?

I normally don't bet large in week 1 but I feel pretty good about Stanford, even if historically, they've been known to lay an egg in week 1. I think they are improving from last year even with losing Hogan, while KSU will take a big step back talent wise, especially on offense. I see Stanford being one of the top teams in the Pac12 while KSU will be one of the worst teams in the B12.

No true. Just throwing darts you have a 50/50 chance. Several losers in a row and you become due to throw a dart on the winning side.

actually ryan burns should be starting for standford and jesse ertx for kst. both offenses should be able to light it up and the over looks very good

as you can see the line went back up to 49 and would not be surprises if hits in the 50s. good luck to everyone!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Gold, you must have some clout - lines up to 49. I was hoping for a little higher number so I could pound the under.

Which is why I'm betting Stanford. I think Hubener is the better choice over Ertz but we shall see soon enough.

I bought a bad fukking line. I'm on Stanford -14 -127 ( I bought 1.5 points) for a line that is down to now -12.5
I'm going to most likely add a live bet and a 2nd half bet as I think Stanford will get stronger towards the latter part of the game.

Wow. Lots of people disrespecting old man Snyder. Ask another great coach from your area (Pete Carrol) how he faired against Ksu. 0-2 SU.
And Ortz is the far better qb then Hubner. Ortz won the starting spot last year before getting hurt second play of the year. Fastest QB they have had since Michael Biship. Look for options and spread QB runs, then the quick TE strike.
Bill has never had a problem stopping s one dimensional team, it's the spread offenses like Baylor,Texas Tech, ect. And with a new qb, I think Stanford will rely on one player too much. Just my opinion. I look for a great close game
GL with your bets.

Nice insight. Kansas st. has always been known for its toughness and ability to outplay their expectations through very sound physical, fundamental football. They do have a good front 7 on D and I think will try to take away McCaffery as much as possible and it does not seem like a bad idea considering the Cards are very young up front. Think the first half could be closely contested as both QBs try to get their feet wet with 2 very sound, disciplined defenses which explains why the total is where it is.
But I believe the Cards will be prepared for K-st. overloading and overscheming for McCaffrey that it could leave the back end of their defense on an island with some very good flankers outside for Stanford in Irwin and Rector. I think eventually K-st's inexperience at QB against a very solid Stanford squad that is strong in all areas in D this year could turn the field in favor of the Cards and help them punch in scores as the game wears on. They pull away in my opinion and win yet another impressive performance in Palo Alto. Edge to STANFORD -13. GL to all.

No. But the squares can still possibly win.
