glad to see NBC finally deciding to move the one-eyed golden voiced wonder aside, in favor of my Main Man below....
my wife always thinks i'm listenting to howard stern when she overhears me in the other room watching SNF with michaels, and until she pointed all that b.s. out, I never realized how much michaels sounds like the King of All Media....
no doubt NBC was heavily influenced by the clip below, which shows how much more talent and gusto the play by play genius set to take over Michael's job has over his soon-to-be predecessor......
I listened to this guy and thought, "Holy shit, how did this change not happen decades ago????"
This is true play by play calling at its very best, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and perfect timing....
I can't wait to see him in the booth and ol one-eye out of there.....
"Dog!!! He put this team on his back!!!!"
and he knows how to get into the minds of the players and call/translate exactly what they are thinking at any given moment, midplay, and in the player's exact f'n voice!!!!!
