Week 1 will be insane! I've never seen so many top ranked teams have tough matchups this early. Could be a wild year in college ball!

All top 5 teams have their hands full. Especially LSU if Fournette is out AND Bama with god-knows-who at QB

Not a fan of polls, but what are you going to do about them coming out before they play this first game? Nothing, because it's a free country and the media will be the media.

This looks like just a poll of where they finished last season minus The Spartans. Like PavyRacer said let them sort it out on the field. The bad thing is the team ranked just outside the preseason polls have to play above and beyond to get their recognition. Where as top 10 teams get more leeway for a clunker or close game. That's why I'm not a fan of the preseason poll.

If a team wins then it will find its way into the polls, that's not a problem. The teams with the tougher schedules should be ranked higher because there will be plenty of chances to get get knocked down.

UCLA rated surprisingly high. Everything else about expected. Baylor probably way better than 23 until the injuries start.

The preseason poll is the only one that is any good. Every one after that becomes more and more ridiculous. I don't even look at them, they are so bad.
