Mcgregor is just too small to fight Diaz. You can't go up 2 weight classes and expect to out punch a puncher; I'm pretty Diaz could just stand there with his hands behind his back and let Mcgregor take free shots at his chin and he still wouldn't knock him out.

Unfortunately, the UFC is in bad times right now where all the big stars have lost recently or been found to be doping. So if this fight goes the distance, I wouldn't be surprised by a rigged decision made by the judges, or if the ref tries to end it early for a Mcgregor win.

Mcgregor will win this fight against that retard. Can't wait to see him beat him even with his full camp. The twerp cholo gangster and his crackhead team going down. Mcgregor era still here.

The ideal outcome for UFC would be either McGregor wins early by KO or fight goes distance and McGregor wins by decision or a split decision. Any of those outcomes lead to a 3rd fight which people are already discussing. Diaz should want a 3rd fight cause that means more $$$ for him. The only thing that scares me about this fight, is it's essentially meaningless. No title on the line or anything, so even if McGregor did lose again it wouldn't change anything. Hard to tell what the motivation is exactly for Conor here.

Does anyone have this info? Can anyone provide details as to what Conor's motivation might be to win this fight? I can't seem to figure it out either.

Not jealous really. But you call Diaz backers emotional women when you're the same about your golden pony who btw lost the fight first fight. GL. This is one fight where people are betting on the fighter they like regardless of stats or footage or whatever. Prolly only 2 fighters I will always bet on and that's the Diaz brothers. All I know is this forum is Gona explode after the fight.

giving it some thought, i don't think connor will lose. if he does, it's basically end of his career. i mean yeah he can always go back to feather weight but he won't be that big of a factor in the ufc.

losing to mediocre nate diaz twice in a row? give me a break. dana will be squeezing his butt cheeks tomorrow night for his golden boy.

if you're gonna talk the talk... you better walk the walk.

Absolutely. What that shows is Josh Koscheck is a sneaky weasel in the ring. Not that UFC is fake.

                                      Connor victory = 3rd fight.

                                      3rd fight = $$$.

Not sure I can put it any more basic than that.

There's a reason the NBA Finals went 7 games.

McGregor won this second fight the second he tapped out to Diaz the first fight.

Wake up boys. This isn't a fight where anything can happen. Mult-millions of dollars on the line, there is no risk taken by UFC.

                                      McGregor -115 Saturday.

Considering this isn't a title fight, so even if he shows up and gets knocked out 1st minute of round 1 he's still the champ. He could always go back to his original weight class. Sure it will tarnish his reputation a bit but he'd still only have 4 losses and he would still get his million dollar purse no matter what happens. Diaz should be way more motivated. Doesn't mean he'll win cause of it though. That's why I said the motivation factor is what scares me from the McGregor angle. If this was a title fight, I'd already have slammed McGregor earlier in the week.

lmao. might be the dumbest comment ever congrats.

first off, McGregor gets 3million tonight. not 1 million.
secondly, it sure as hell would tarnish McGregor's rep ALOT more than a little
third, motivation is ALL on McGregor's side. hello, he lost already and hand picked Nate. you can't lose under those circumstances.
nate is a great fighter but he gives zero shits about the belt or any of that, a loss would not affect him much, a loss by McGregor(again) would be HUGE

come on now, learn the game son

first off, McGregor gets 3million tonight. not 1 million.
secondly, it sure as hell would tarnish McGregor's rep ALOT more than a little
third, motivation is ALL on McGregor's side. hello, he lost already and hand picked Nate. you can't lose under those circumstances.
nate is a great fighter but he gives zero shits about the belt or any of that, a loss would not affect him much, a loss by McGregor(again) would be HUGE

come on now, learn the game son
Naw, the dumbest comment ever was you telling everyone to fade the Olympic players in the Cincy Masters over in the tennis sub. The final is today and wouldn't you know it, it's Murray vs. Cilic and guess what?! They both also played in Rio at the Olympics, Murray winning the damn thing! So great logic on your part about the Rio players being tired and not caring about the Cincy tourney. 75% of the semifinalists in Cincy also played Rio and both players in the final did. Great logic by you....not!

As for the fight, I was with McGregor, as you can see in my previous post in this thread I called it, Conor by decision. JJ actually called that first, earlier in the thread. It was pretty obvious McGregor would either win by KO or decision, and he did. Those outcomes leave the best open door for the trilogy. My comment about Conor's motivation was me looking at the fight from a holistic perspective. That's why I said, that's the ONLY thing that scared me about this fight. If it was a title fight I would've unloaded on it. Since it wasn't, I picked up a few units on Mac ML and Mac by decision. The fight was a lot closer than I and certainly you by your comments anticipated. I just watched the replay again, you were talking in here like it was the lock of the decade and it was close. Diaz finished the 5th on top. 30 more seconds on the clock, who knows what happens.

Any of those outcomes lead to a 3rd fight which people are already discussing. Diaz should want a 3rd fight cause that means more $$$ for him.
I'm a very casual UFC fan, it's probably the sport I follow least out of the major American centric sports and even I could see that coming.

Hey blue, try to layoff that Buckeye nut this season, son.
