#39I've heard Croatia is another nice, cheap place and that's near Slovenia, just across from the coast of Italy.Originally posted by jjgoldUSA low class Country now with low class people
Slovenia I mean ..a place like Ljubljana is gorgeous right off Coast Of Italy and cheap
I visited Portugal last September and most people make the equivalent of about $800-$900 per month so the standard of living is low. This is a southern Euro country so it has warm climates. It's close enough to take a cheap flight to other parts of Europe for a quick weekend getaway.
A lot of people from Britain retire in the south of Portugal (the Algarve) so there are quite a few English speakers there. They welcome retirees. You can live there for 10 years without paying taxes. Medical insurance is around $135/month per person and that includes everything including free checkups and even surgery.Comment -
