Is picking 4 games instead of 5 a viable option in BTP?

You can't win the weekly prizes so at that point your all in on the final prizes. That said the year I cashed on it - at the end I was very selective if I didn't have 5 I loved

May want to double check rules. It's not clear whether you can always pick 4. It says 70 total picks (participated 14 weeks) - so not sure if you have to have had 14 weeks of 5 picks each at minimum or what.

If that's your true motive I would check with the mod on that thread and double check.

At first I would do 5, if you think you have a chance and are at min bets do whatever. If you bet NCAA you should be able to find 5 bets.
