Lets say you hear your car getting pinged with bullets, you stop and find out what they want or keep going?
The Woman driver is cooperating with police. Woman driver has multiple bullet holes in her car. I doubt they could hit her car from 200 feet away. So it sounds like she probably did stop and then got shot at and took off again.

hit and run resulting in an injury is a big felony. if that guy is dead, then the driver can be charged for manslaughter most likely and gonna spend some time in jail. i don't think it matters the circumstances. even though it was that guy's fault for standing in the middle of the road, it's still a hit and run. who knows though, the driver could claim he or she feared for his or her life.
