Since I was almost laughed off the poker table yesterday by poster Big Orange(he is a huge Tennessee homer)when I brought this up, I want to post this prediction and revisit after the season.

San Diego St will finish the season ranked HIGHER than the University of Tennessee.

Big Orange said "no way that shit team will do anything unless Marshall Faulk plays".

Donnell Pumphery rushed for 1800+ yards last year and is on pace to break most of Faulk's records. SDSU also has a very experienced team coming back and I think they potentially run the table.

Obviously this has a lot to do with the conference that each team plays in and the fact that I believe that SDSU runs the table or only loses 1 game.

It is obvious by Big O's comments that he is a blind homer and is clueless about teams that are not in his conference.

Let's hear some predictions, fellas

Even if SDSU runs the table they're not getting in the playoff. Tennesee will lose to Florida and Alabama which will exclude them for the Final Four.

I personally like Alabama but playing USC (neutral site) and Ole Miss (away) in their first 3 games worries me, especially with an inexperienced QB.

You may want to look at Tennessees schedule. They are going to have to drop a clunker to a Kentucky or A&M for that to happen.

SDSU plays in a really bad conference. They will lose to a bad school...it happens every year with them. I feel bad for the Mountain West...it has some fun schools to watch. But losing Utah and BYU destroyed that conference. I think SDSU loses two and Tennessee loses three and Tennessee will still be ranked higher. If you're talking who will have most losses, Tennessee will have more.

SDSU has a good D, not just Pumphery (who did nothing against PSU last year).

Tenn is really good, idk if he's a homer or not, but his statement isn't.

SDSU is @ N. Ill which could easily be a loss. Have Cal at home which I could see them winning, but espn will call it a huge upset.

Wouldn't surprise me if SDSU ended up ranked higher despite being a 4 td dog.
