Nobody gives a fu#k about one Olympiad. Look at overall country records. USA is absolutely destroying the entire world handedly. They're over 1000 medals ahead of #2 all-time. Germany is #4 all-time out of every country in the world. Ya they really suck. There are like 70 or 80 countries that have never even won 1 medal. USA and USR have way bigger populations than smaller countries like Germany also. Germany very impressive in Olympic history and beating their rivals France and Italy of similar size.
