Not everyone stacks metals for economic collapse reasons and not everyone is trading daily. I learned about playing the gold/silver ratio in the late 90's, what a time with $6 silver and $400 gold, and have continuously traded up when I believe proper and am very happy with the results for a 20 year investment play which is still going, better than a bs 401k thats for sure.

Nobody KNOWS the future but c'mon we all have ideas and opinions, like imo silver getting back to 40+ before touching 10 again

yeah don't believe the gold will hit $10,000 and silver will hit $1000 an ounce touts. but precious metals such as gold and silver are legit if you get in at the right times. people always make the mistake of buying high and get burned.

silver will not dip below $10 and gold will not dip below $1000 an ounce anytime soon or never.

I've been in cash for some time now because my feeling has always been that around the time of the election into 2nd quarter 2017 there would be a big drop in the market, at which time I would get in. It may or may not have to do with the election, it just seems like another reason since the timing is right and US equities are crazily overvalued.

Yeah, good point. Could be inside info on that. A lot of people don't think a .25 rate hike is going to even do that much, since we haven't raised rates in like 8 years. I've closed every position I have just in case, even though it's probably nothing.
