Tom Jackson never had a schtick like Berman did (except when he went "hee hee" after Berman mentioned Cleveland Browns WR Michael Jackson), so I never really got sick of him. In the last few years, he did develop this annoying "mmmp" outburst every time he thought something somebody said was powerful to him, and that happened like 10 times an episode. Still, I've always liked him. Will be sad when he leaves, he and Berman did make NFL Prime Time awesome back in its day.

Guys, stay tuned for updates along the way. This is huge news.
The wording sounds like he got offered a lot less money to do something else on ESPN. Odds are he is working on his Fox Sports contract as we speak. Its nice these old timers have a bit of leverage with FOX writing big checks to seem legit.

Jackson is one of the few guys on TV who actually knows what he's talking about; big loss.

It's good time to get out of there. Haven't cared for him for sometime now. The whole countdown crew doesn't do it for me. That's probably why I don't watch them.

This...I get tired of listening to this average linebacker that played in the 80s talk about how it was

If you haven't noticed, just like all the other PC and liberal media outlets, they are losing it big time. Everyone is jettisoning for Fox now, it's a slow bleed because of the name, but once they lose more contracts, no one will watch espn and their BS anymore.
Tirico was easily their worst loss. He and Gruden were phenomenal on MNF, and besides Dan Schulman, was their top guy.
