Is there any player in the history of the NFL that had a bigger impact than Mike Vick
Back in the early/mid 2000's, this dude was the man. People all over the country were wearing his jersey, even in Alaska! He was like a real life superman doing things that seemed physically impossible. His reign at the top wasn't very long, but when he was on, he was fccking on!

I can't think of a single player in the games history that had a similar impact nationwide.

Anyone know of any other players?

I think you mean popularity, not impact.

Yes he inspired a different style of quarterback but what has any of those small scrambling types ever won?

If anything he was more like a Randall Cunningham clone.

What he did to those dogs is unforgivable. To electrocute, beat and shoot a pet that just wants love from their owner is barbaric and not the actions of a good man.

As to the original question, in my lifetime you could make a case for Vick being most influential but I'm going with LT, Deion and Reggie White.

LT changed how LB's were used. Deion was the epitome of a shut down corner who cut the field in 1/2 for opposition. Add in his ability to go for 6 anytime he touched ball too. Reggie was first big name to sign with a small market team over big market.

Dog fighting is illegal and cruel. Just because hillbillies and criminals consider it a cultural thing, it doesn't make it ok. Vick isn't a good guy and is only loved by uncivilized losers like yourself.

He played QB/RB/WR, hence the name SLASH.

                                              Lawrence Taylor.

Vick sold more jerseys than Manning and Brady combined for a short time. Most people these days didn't have a clue that happened.

He was like a real life superman doing things that seemed physically impossible. His reign at the top wasn't very long, but when he was on, he was fccking on!

I can't think of a single player in the games history that had a similar impact nationwide.

Used to run into him all the time in cincy. He is a great dude.
