    Kershaw shut down indefinitely
    Dodgers are fukked

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Clayton Kershaw (back) "didn't feel great" after throwing a simulated game this weekend and has been shut down indefinitely.

Asked about a possible return timetable, Roberts replied: "Uncertain." Kershaw had been aiming to return to the Dodgers' rotation later this week, but he's been battling lingering discomfort since throwing 60 pitches in a simulated setting on Saturday. Julio Urias will be called up from the Triple-A Oklahoma City bullpen to make a spot start Thursday versus the Nationals.

Not surprised. I had a hard time believing he could come back in 2 weeks from a herniated disk.

              Blessing in disguise

Guy wears himself out trying to pitch complete games every year and has spaghetti arm by the time playoffs start

Even if it's classified as a herniated disc. That could just be the mild report. Could be a higher degree... like "over-sized bulging" disc... and that would require immediate surgery. Don't think the Dodgers are going to tell the public which degree it is.

He looked fine hanging out in the dugout during the all star game.

                            Doubt it's anything serious
