That never got another contract from another MLB team and they had to play baseball elsewhere, one for me was Erubiel Durazo a very good left hand batter but no team signed him up after the 2005 season he had with Oakland.

the most curious one is rudy pemberton of the boston red sox who had a lifetime batting average of .336 for 3 seasons including the highest batting average in mlb history for anyone with 40 or more at bats .512 and yet no one wanted him after the 1997 season.Comment -

solid right fielder who oddly enough had a lifetime batting avg. of .336 in 11 minor league seasons. ran off to japan with his 152k earnings (lifetime). so much that the red sox granted him his release in june of 1997. hated japan came back and played in the mexican league for 5 or 6 years still bashing the ball all over the place. missed getting his mlb pension 83,500 a year for life by just 1 year which sources say he could use starting in 2020.Comment -

If you can't get another contract you usually aren't a good teammate or locker room guy. There's always a number of guys who can't hit or gas can pitchers that you wonder why they keep getting recycled and not let go.Comment -
