Even aside from this being about as ideal of a situational advantage as you could find, I would take the midfield of France over Portugal, Pogba, Griezmann, Giroud along with a plethora of young talent.

We saw this week how much Pogba wanted to have revenge against the Germans for his ousting in champions league. I think the same here for Griezmann and having been bested by Ronaldo in the CL final.

France just too much pressure up front for Portugal and there will be an entire country giving them the energy to continue that pressure throughout
