I follow this team more closely and attend more games than I do with any other team. The 2016 Cardinals quite frankly are not a good team. They won 100 games last year with a very similar roster, only major change was swapping Lackey for Leake in the offseason and letting Heyward walk who was basically replaced by Piscotty/Moss and has done very little with the Cubs, so good move, but this team isn't the same as last year. Grichuk, Wong and Pham look like minor leaguers and based on their numbers they should be. Yadi is showing signs of aging and decline. The pitching is the biggest head scratcher though. Went from best in the league ERA last year to the scrap heap now. Rosenballs is useless as is the entire bullpen outside of Oh who can't pitch 4 innings every game. Starting rotation looks like shit too outside of CarMart who is legit and has beat some good teams this year. It'll be a miracle if they win 90 games. They'll be dam lucky to win 85 the way they've played this season so far. Should miss the playoffs but with 2 WCs now could barely sneak in if they go on a win streak 2nd half. Be careful laying chalk on this team, especially at home. They aren't worth the -150, -175, -200 prices based on body of work. They're still getting respect from last season's work I guess.Comment -

Same here. They're prime fade material, especially at home this year. Way under .500 but they are always big favs. Doesn't make sense. This game tonight should have been around pick em or -115 max with the injuries and it was like -170, -175 everywhere. Unreal. I laid off tonight, but if someone forced me to bet this game, I would've taken the Pirates, even with 5 ERA Jeff Locke pitching. That's how bad the Cardinals have been at home this season. They score about 1 run less per game at home versus on the road. Makes no sense. Almost all of their home wins this season have come against the Brewers, Reds, Rockies and Phillies. I don't feel like looking it up but I think they've lost every other home series this year except against those 4 teams that are all bad teams. As a fan, I hope they sell at the trade deadline and prep for the future. This team would go nowhere in the playoffs even if they made it, which they shouldn't.Comment -
