I'm talking the in game analysis such as " check to induce a bluff bet so i can raise or set him up to call my value bet on the river"
Of course we should be going over our hands after a session but this "advanced thinking" will usually do more harm than good in these low stakes games. How many 25NL players can be induced to bluff? That requires at a minimum second level thinking and most 25NL players don't have a Fkn clue

2 pieces of advice if I wasn't clear hippy
1. Play more hands with showdown value because the vast majority of your opponents will be playing theircards rather than thinking about what you have in yourhand, so don't get fancy play syndrome trying to outplay a table that isn't really paying attention in the first place. Don't expect most villains to even understand the odds of a situation and give them credit i.e "he called x so must have y". 7/10 are fkn fish and just want to gamble so kill them with value bets and know once in a while they get there. They'd stop playing if they never got there so let it go.
2. Your other job is to identify the 3/10 who may have more than 25 brain cells and set them up with the fancy bluffs

I definitely second this. I play 10NL and will be moving up to 25NL soon. I'm in a coaching program so I understand a lot of stuff at the moment that most players have no idea about and I'm only in the beginner's stage. Just identify the player type and see if their line makes sense. Most raises on turn and river are usually the nuts except when they're from players with vpip of 70+. These players are usually bluff raising at will. Without a HUD you are limited and will have to pay more attention at the tables, but just play TAG and take everyone to value town.

2) I don't feel like counting how much money you put in vs how much you need to call and what not, but playing short stacked is not profitable. In this instance he raised you knowing you are a short stack and that you would shove a lot of the time. Because you are short stacked you're not really going to try to get out of this hand here.
You might be able to play short stack profitably at 25NL, but at 50NL and higher you'll probably get killed. Also it's so much more profitable to play deep stacked when there are fish at the table. Anyway, good luck man!

No matter how he played that second hand, it was likely going to end up the same way. Villain hit his set after a flop he was not going to fold.
