Predicting Knicks Season win totals - under will be bet heavy?

There are still roster spots to fill especially at shooting guard but now that the Knicks are taking on all of the Bulls' zombies, What will the season win total be set at? Last year the team won 32 games.

They are spending their money on two guys that can't stay on the court. Melo isnt the most durable guy either. The Rose pickup is kind of cool since they get a shot at other free agents and arent stuck the following year.

With a starting 4 of Noah, Melo, Rose, Porzingas, we got 3 guys that need to play less than 30 minutes and a team that can't really run the ball. Do they play 40 games together all yr? I'm going to guess season win total of 45 at open and bet down to 43.5.

A big question with their core players is how much better will Porzingas be in his sophomore year?

They'll have an awesome regular season! Optimism will be through the roof before their first round exit. I think they'll be in the high 40's, maybe 48 wins. Playoffs they'll get crushed by some upstart team like Milwaukee.

No way they win 48 IMO. Even if they show potential and excite folks, they will be preserved for the playoffs. They need to finish 7th or better just to avoid Cavs in rd 1. This is a team that sits the final 10 games if they can get away with it.

Right, and thats kind of the angle...you are betting on them not being healthy where Joe public sees a former all-star lineup and envisions show time. It happens every year. This is this years overhyped team IMO. Look at the Nash/ Bryant/Howard Lakers! and those guys started out healthy coming in, all playing the year before.

Yeah, tough one. I don't even think the public is dumb enough to want to bet anything on the Knicks anymore.

I want to see what they do with their depth before putting a number on it. All 4 stars aren't going to get all hurt at once, so can their 6-8th guys on the bench help them win games or like last year, absolutely not?

Lol if so I'm dropping a grand on the over. Worked out well for me last year at 29.5. They were 22-22 before starting their usual nonsense.

43.5 sounds exactly right to me. No play at that amount.

Think This squad can win 40-44 games if healthy...like I've said in other threads, I'd be happy with an 8th seed
