#3Um... at 3.7%???? That's way too high.
Coinbase clearly doesn't want your business. Forcing you to look elsewhere.

#8I believe it's a default of $250 now. But you're paying 3.75% each time. Coinbase raping people.Originally posted by OckertCRSame $40 daily limit as with a debit card I am assumingComment -

#9Quang... I just logged into Circle. Click "Buy Coins" and when it takes you to the next screen... it shows you the price when you select how many Bitcoins you want. It seems like it is FREE for the transaction... but the coins are marked up. $6 - $7 above Coinbase pricing.Originally posted by QuangXHow do we know what price circle is buying in bitcoin with? for example $650 per coin or $680 per coin. they don't list any sort of pricing..

#21I can't imagine its going to matter either way. In the event you are ever audited by the IRS you're going to have to explain the transfers from either provider.Originally posted by The GiantI'm just wondering if it looks better going to your bank from PayPal instead of Coinbase.Comment -

#23Yeah, you're right. I just thought mixing up the appearances on the transactions might be useful, but probably not. I do like the option of being able to buy things right away, though.Originally posted by downsouthI can't imagine its going to matter either way. #26I don't see one advantage going through PayPal.Originally posted by The GiantAny advantage to selling it to PayPal?
1. 3.75% transaction fee with Coinbase
2. Paypal could keep track of money coming in and report it depending on your volume.
Would never use Paypal.
Would rather risk Coinbase or Circle giving irs figures.Comment -

#29It'd be nice to have that option on my account, but for whatever reason they still won't give me the instant buy ability. However, Cash App has allowed me to instantly buy and withdraw Bitcoin for months. As I said, not clamoring for it since I have Cash App, but would be nice to have options considering it'd be nice to have the option to buy and withdraw ETH and Litecoin instantly.Originally posted by Sam OdomHave not used CB in a good long while until this morning... as soon as Sammy used it got this email from them:

I'm already at $22.5k limit for bank purchases and $1875 for CC purchases (and automatically eligible for a higher CC limits in 12 days), but have used none of it since CC fees suck and I can't do ACH instantly. 1.5% ACH purchases aren't terrible, but having to wait a week doesn't make it worth it.Comment -

#31Yeah, i finally got that instant purchase thing with bank account. Looks like its a fee of 1.5%. Can deposit up to $10,000 per day. I can trade instantly...but i cannot withdraw back to my bank or to an external btc address for 10 days. All that hype for nothing. Thought i could deposit and send instantly. Does me no good when trying to deposit to book right away.Originally posted by mrpapageorgioIt'd be nice to have that option on my account, but for whatever reason they still won't give me the instant buy ability. I never tried it with Block Chain.. Never even looked into it yet.. Just thought of it now.. Always cashed out thru Coin base in the past.Comment
