Currency speculators were buried because they took the odds of sportsbooks as truth because typically their chalk wins political contests. So they ignored risk and flew the pound up yesterday - then it promptly crashed. There is beauty in the marketplace.

I get that it feels good to vote against Euro control and particularly the immigration rules but I think the reality will be hard times for ordinary Brits for the next few years particularly.

Whilst the powers that be negotiate away most of the things people based their vote for Brexit on, the uncertainty is going to leave Brits out on a limb in the world economically. Big companies are going to shelve any plans to expand and particularly manufacture there almost immediately until the situation is sorted out. Devaluation of the pound will help for a short period but once entrenched it could very well hamstring UK growth for a very long time.

Scotland may not mean much to Brits right now but if they do bail out of the UK and stick with the EU I predcit a good chance many Brits want to move there for the economic boom that will happen in the place.

Like I said it was going to have bumps in the road like most things that change,but it needed to happen,tell me something Optional why is it all of Scotland that wanted to stay but everyone in Northern England wanted out. Holland wants out of the EU know so it isnt all peaches and cream to stay in.

Well still have trade deals with alot of these countries,they need are money and vice versa.Well still have are trade deals with Canada,the US,India, etc.

Yeah Remain was a lot more well received in London then the rest of England. The young wealthy folk living in London like your mate were reaping the benefits that the working class aren't. Inner Churchill,I like that,I think its pretty narrowminded of people to think England cant get on with it on are own.

The only really shitty thing I've heard so far over here is that one of our major banks has frozen their foreign currency cards because the rate kept fluctuating so badly so Aussie workers in the UK who are getting paid from Aussie companies are fukked at the moment. Can't even take out $10 and on a weekend - and with no notice or reaching out to people. People just found out after work when they went to ATMs and had zero cash available all of a sudden. There won't be any horror stories and any bumps will be dealt with because the whole process is going to happen so slowly.

Every other friggen area of the world operates independently. Surely the moocher countries - big and small - can finally find motivation to sort themselves out. I loved living in the UK but seriously they got taken for a ride with the whole EU thing - especially when the borders properly opened. I know just from here where the vast majority of scammers come from trying to rob SBR on a daily basis and two of the biggest offenders - Bulgaria and Slovakia - are EU countries who have flooded the UK so I don't blame them for wanting to finally shut the door. I can only imagine the drama and trouble they've been having. The EU is only beneficial if you have the passport and want to easily move or if you're a moocher country or a large slack one. Crappy concept the whole thing and now watch the smart ones jump too.
