And Spurs have LMA one of the best big men in game , kawai Leonard the best defender and are about to pick up mike Conley most likely... Far from done lol I hate the Spurs to but they always stay relevant it seems

How are they done when this season they were 1 win away from going perfect at home and had there best season record in franchise history

i dont even like the Spurs but to say they're irrelevant or can't win the ship is extremely wrong , they're in the top 3 discussion easily any top 5 team has a chance it's the nba injuries and things can happen

Really doesn't matter where Durant goes. Unless this guy changes his body, bulks up, and improve his endurance he will continue to struggle down the stretch. The guy is too damn frail.

Smfh people in this thread are clueless lollll... Durant has been a leading scorer of the entire year multiple times in the past few years and was 1 game away from going to the finals, if klay didn't have a once in a decade game 6 durant could have A ring right now . Guys lanky but he's a top 3 scorer in the league easily and his defense has improved vastly

Good trade for OKC.. OKC already have 2 big men and don't need Ibaka.. This is a roster upgrade of OKC.. All this means nothing if OKC can't resign KD..

Magic were desperate for a big man, it's just a shame that Ibaka really isn't a dominate big man.. Poor Orlando..

                Oladipo is not mediocre

Dude was #2 overall pick 2 yrs ago & has progressed nicely each yr in league & was arguably the best player Orlando had. Has great handle, one of the better 2 guard defenders in league, can create own shot. Average 18 points & over 4 reb & 4 assist to go along with nearly 2 steals per game last season, 24 yrs old & growing into a solid young talent.
                Fantastic move by OKC!!

knew Ibaka was gone from OKC the second he made that stupid as fuk foul on Curry trying to get a really bad 3 off at the end of the shot clock in game 7 when OKC had made a run to cut the deficit to like 3 or 4 at the moment... Durant was hot as fuk. Ibaka doesn't back off from his body as he tries to shoot... fouls him and Curry walks to the line... swish swish swish game 7 over Warriors win

one of the dumbest fouls on a forced shot i've ever seen due to it being playoffs... game 7.... last minute of game... game still undecided

Ibaka peaked 2 years ago. Still a good player but OKC won this deal. Oladipo's shooting has shown steady improvement. He's a good player.

One of my favorite Oladipo memes from his Indiana University days (Oladipope). I saw this guy play Michigan State at East Lansing in early 2013. He looked like the 2nd coming of Michael Jordan lol:

^^ No one is the second coming of Michael Jordan.. Kobe, Magic and Bird came very close, Lebron coming close now but still no cigar.. No one has the skills or will to win like MJ did.. I was around to watch MJ's career as well as Kobe's, Magics and Birds...Now Lebron and Curry...

Curry has a better shot but still can't hit in the crunch or drive to the hoop like MJ did in his prime.. We all just witnessed Curry come up short in game 7 of the finals just now.. Curry was a no show as MJ would have shown.... You live by the 3 you die by the 3.. Curry is pretty much a one trick pony with his 3's..

MJ would have drove to the hole and got the foul plus one in crunch time if his shot was not going down..

Dude, I was half joking. All I meant was this guy was lighting up the court in a Big 10 NCAA college basketball context. For that stage he was doing crazy damage. Of course he's not MJ's actual predecessor. In all seriousness, Kobe Bryant came the closest in a professional level NBA context.

How the hell can Larry or Magic be the 2nd coming of MJ when they came before him?

Ibaka was dealt because he is in final year of deal and they weren't going to open the checkbook for him. Better to get good value for him now instead of pennies on the dollar during season.

Obviously Magic and Bird are not the 2nd coming of MJ, what I ment was a comparison to the greatest ever obviously.... Michael Jordan still remains the greatest basketball player ever in my opinion as I've watched hoop closely for the last 35 years...

Remember the hand check rules changed after Jordan retired which makes it easier for shooting guards today like Curry to create separation..

Now I didn't see Dr J, Wilt, or Bill Russel play so I can't land a greatest ever comparison with them..
