It's the first game of the season so it's a bit early. Last year I started around week 3. For early season capping, like this, the most advanced forecast I can give is Hamilton winning 27-24.

But this is a poor forecast to bet. In fact, I have other metrics that indicate this type of forecasting will fail, even in the first game.

I like Toronto to win, going against my forecast. I have bet it myself, along with the -5 points but am not going to make it bold as it may not be fair to ask bettors to come in so early with my market analysis when I have so little analysis to give.

In my opinion, if you are a gambling man, the safest bet is the most expensive with Toronto to win this rematch of the first game of last year's playoffs.

Perhaps the story tonight will be Toronto's revenge.

It can be exciting. I can tell you this...no lead is safe, no matter how little the clock.

There are only 3 downs, so that's a bit of bitch to watch.

There's money in the markets to be had for sure.

Last season we saw 10 Overs in the first 12 games, it ended with like 21 Overs and 17 Unders. The Playoffs had 3 Unders and 2 overs.

With only 3 downs a tough defense can dictate the game.

Hard to make a blanket statement on totals, should be capped of course.

It's early and it's a game of halves, and halves of halves...lol.

I rarely like to lead early and if I had Hamilton right now I would probably bring out the sharks and be nervous the rest of the game.

Who knows, it's the first game and I consider it preseason in a sense. The market will begin to mature in week 3 or 4, but week five is when we really see the influential money come in, however they handicap.

Let's see if the Argos will adjust tonight.
