I'm a lifelong Cleveland fan. I saw Jordan in person way too many times, so I hated watching him beat my team. Lebron is the greatest team player I've even seen. He raises up the entire team by doing all the little things. He carries entire teams on his back like in this series where he led in scoring, rebounding, assists, steals and blocks. Jordan didn't have to carry all the heavy lifting like rebounding or assists every game. Jordan was a pure scorer. No one could stop Jordan. Lebron is more like Magic. Just an all around basketball player. Jordan was an offensive force (although he could play hella defense).
Jordan is the GOAT but Lebron is not too far behind him. If he ends up with as many titles as Jordan (which seems pretty impossible), he would be in the discussion. Jordan refused to lose games. He made sure his team was never in a position to lose a finals. Lebron still doesn't mind losing. He'll live with it. Jordan was possessed about winning. He was/is an addict. I've seen Jordan play blackjack all night then go play golf all day and do it over and over again. He wouldn't go to sleep at night if he couldn't win. Lebron totally different mindset.
If I had to start a team, I'm not sure who I would pick in their prime though? Probably Lebron if I have a lot of scrubs on the roster.Comment -
