They should start the season a month later and make the conf and actual final 9 games and extend until mid aug. would not be shocked to see this within 15 years. And the ratings will obviously be huge for this one.

Huuuuge. Curry the choir boy, who finally got mad, versus the self-proclaimed King, who is either loved or hated. Cavs down 3-1, now 3-3. The Draymond suspension, Lue and James whining which led to it in many minds. Kerr and Curry fined for on and off the court anger towards the refs. 2x MVP, first unanimous versus the 4x MVP, considered the best in the world until Curry came along. Record breaking, defending champs GSW versus Cleveland, who has never won. LeBron, the prodigal son who promised to bring them a title, but has his 2-4 record in the Finals. The NBA couldn't ask for anything better.

Outside of Cleveland and Oakland people won't be lining up watch parties for their friends etc. Lets not forget most people outside of those cities couldn't care less vs Super Bowl when you get the most casual fan tuning in for commercials, half time show and generally just the 'event' itself. This isn't the same type of event, not even close.

Definitely not even close to the Super Bowl, but any casual basketball fan should be tuning in. Friends will be hanging out to watch or go to the bar. I'd be one of them if I didn't lose my ass waiting for this game. Still may find a way to bet and go out. Easily the biggest Finals game of the 2000's.
