Its perfectly reasonable to assume GSW will win Game 7...this is of course assuming what we saw in the regular season is REAL...as GSW has been "protected" all year...and we must adjust for all the favoritism this team has received from the league from the moving screens...and the non calls...I do not like the fact that the public now JUMPING on the Lebron bandwagon...the books have now adjusted a bit...
They are favorites as far as the line goes and the money...but have become virtually overnight public dogs...this bodes well for GSW backers...Game 7 usually goes to the home team...those who have series bets already locked in...sit tight...but no doubling down...in a game 7...
That being said..CAVS for ME as it has always BEEN...

Totally agreed!
The guy went from an NBA player at the top of his game, to a broken down 75-year-old in a matter of moments. And if you watch very carefully, he was winking to somebody in the stands while hobbling around out there.
So very obvious that last year's NBA MVP of the Finals was up to shenanigans last night.
I'm glad I wasn't the only one that caught that.

it think they were really playing well, but it was under the illusion that they were the best team
in the NBA, created by beating Lebron in the Finals. (never mind that it was 60% of the starters)
If Irving had stayed healthy, Cavs would have won, even without Love)
so with that inflated ego, they actually played without doubt. And that alone can create greatness.
Briefly. If you are truly great, then it will not fade when you meet other great opponent. but OKC,
caved, and they caved to avoid LeBron and the Cavs. Durant KNOWS he can't handle LeBron.
Mentally. he knows it. When he got within a SINGLE game of the Finals (Lebron) he stopped producing,
sabotaging his efforts. He is aware of this, and he tried to hide it... he will never be a Champion as
the No,1 option. He suffers from a similar condition as Kevin Love. Niceguyitis.
fatal condition. you must be a killer in there. The only guy i know who is actually a nice guy,
AND a winner. Is Lebron. Not sure how he does it.
this is a tough spot for both teams. More pressure on Steph. two trips to the Finals,
and did not come away with the Finals MVP in either of them.
that looks bad. He just does not play great in the Finals. kind of turns invisible.

psychologically, many people develop illnesses which create an inability to physically
accomplish their goals, when they have accepted that they cannot mentally are not up
to the task.
thus, they sabotage the end result with a perfectly logical physical excuse.
However. it is not faking an injury. They actually physically experience the
symptoms as being real.
if he really did feel his back going out. (arched back) i recognize the body language
from myself. That may be okay for a few minutes in the 1Q. but no way for that to be 100% gone
in 3 days.

Do you believe Iggy felt so defeated last night that he was sabotaging the game the same way Mike Tyson did when he bit off part of the Evander Holyfield's ear, Ratzz?

i think he experienced psychosomatic injury (of a physical illness or other condition) caused or aggravated by a mental factor such as internal conflict or stress. (the stress being the solid play of the Cavs)
and shields his image by experiencing a physical obstacle which would prevent anybody from overcoming said obstacle. (Cavs)
Tyson is wild and uncontrolled. that wa not a physical ailment, he just cannot control his aggression, and wanted to inflict a wound to his opponent. He took any option available to him. since Holyfield was outboxing him. he took a bite of ear when
that was presented to him (imo)

Couldn't you argue Tyson felt the same way? He was coming off a previous loss to Holyfield, knew he was outmatched, and his only way out was to get himself disqualified.
I can see your point a bit, I guess.
Although, I just think Iggy was hurt last night. Injuries happen, it's part of the business.

Uh Giant... if Iggy would stop doing oral steroids... back spasms probably would of never occurred. If you think I'm bullshi#$ing you which I never do....
Just google "Back Pumps Steroids" and there is your answer. Sometimes you can't control them. They pop out of nowhere. Once they occur... they typically last 24 hours.... muscle relaxers won't work either. People claim it's from poor hydration.... but basically steroids dehydrate you no matter how much fluids you put into your system.
Or it could be FIXED? Could be a show??? You be the judge.

I would never question your workout regimen, Money. I know you used to play many seasons in the NBA.
Do you think cayenne peppers might have been helpful for him?

The NBA gets NO EXTRA MONEY from the networks for how many games the series go.....
that contract has been signed years ago....
slaps head at people thinking the NBA wants the series to go longer.

It's not just about the NBA as a company. It's about the owners of the teams.... and other things come into play. More revenue naturally comes in if series are extended.
For instance... Golden State's owner admitted weeks ago... that every playoff game makes around 6 million.

Would a billionaire owner want extra 6 millions and risk losing championship?

I'm just telling you what he said. Period.
So if he makes around 6 million per playoff game... I'm sure Dan Gilbert makes around that much or close to it.
My point is... it's not outrageous to speculate there's more to sports than just the athleticism. These NBA players are "paid entertainers" and that's what they do.
If a game.. or series needs to be manipulated for whatever reason.... the NBA will do it. They won't publicly admit it... and won't post ads in a newspaper advertising it.
In my personal opinion... Cleveland has NO BUSINESS being in the series. ZERO. Cleveland is just a 2 man team. Sometimes a 1 man team. Where as G.S. has 4-6 cylinders running at once. I have Cleveland to win the series. I shouldn't even have a chance to win my wager... it's like a damn mirage that's going on. I'm just riding the wave. Wherever it goes....
I certainly have been entertained. And that's the entire point of the product the NBA sells.

I have no problem with this logic Money...but consider this question...
How do you know what you have seen in the regular season from Golden State is not Manipulated as well ? What if the teams they played have laid down against them ? 2 years ago nobody would have predicted GSW would be where they are now...and yet here they are...how did that happen ?

Was actually screaming very loudly at the TV for this... Must have had what, 5-7 wide open layups that he decided not to take? And then that one layup on the fast break he decided to bring himself out to the corner for the 3. Didn't make much sense.

Anything is possible. If other opponents have laid down against G.S.... I could see it as well. If that's what you were referring to? I also see Golden State as an unbeatable team. They are solid at all areas.
When risking anything in regards to a wager... in the NBA or NFL... I feel you have to examine all rigs etc. Some aren't so evident. Sometimes you just aren't thinking. For instance... The Super Bowl... I thought Carolina was A LOCK. But clearly Manning had one more game in him. Yes, the underdog won. I just thought Carolina's defense would rattle Manning and it didn't happen. Is it a bonehead mistake on my part? Probably.
It's hard to be perfect. Everyone has a system... and 70-80% of all cappers are strictly LOGICAL AND STATISTICAL. That's cool... for MLB and the NHL etc. Hard to be statistical and logical wagering something that's manipulated... like the NBA.
With that being said... LOGICALLY AND STATISTICALLY G.S. should not lose Game 7 at home. In the 90%+ range. If you're going to manipulate the game... Cleveland has a chance to win 3 straight against a team that won 89% of their games in the regular season. Are you kidding me??? 89%??? Wow! And Cleveland has a chance to win 3 straight. It's unheard of.
So... in my opinion the NBA product is rigged.... and it's pure entertainment.
