USA will muck out an extra time goal to eliminate Ecuador from contention.
Seattle crowd always loves defense and the 12th man will be out in full force

im not sure on copa rules specifically but i would almost guarantee you there is extra time yes... 2 15 minutes halves after the original 90 minutes are up. it's how most tournaments go.

I'm pretty sure there is extra time before shootouts isn't there? I mean it is a playoff game

i am a man who admits when is wrong... and i am wrong... this is very surprising ----
Straight to penalty kicks -- except in the final Unlike most other soccer tournaments, in Copa America, extra time is not played to break a tie at the end of regulation time in the quarterfinals and semifinals. Games that are tied after 90 minutes in the knockout round will bypass overtime and go directly to penalty kicks as a tiebreaker -- except in the tournament final. If the final is tied after regulation time, the teams will play two 15-minute extra time periods to try and determine a winner before penalty kicks. Only if the score remains tied after the extra time will the game go to penalty kicks to determine the winner and champion.

I can promise you Copa doesn't. They never have had ET unless it's the finals. All quarter and semi final matches go straight to penalties

I planned on betting all Copa games to end in a draw after regulation. Not sure about that now knowing they go to PKs until Final.
