#4Bogut is not a big factor in this series, if he were out vs OKC for an example, that would be deadly because OKC got a lot of big dudes who can score, Cavs got none, Klove is nothing next to draymond and tristan thompson is just a rebounder. There's a reason why Bogut played little to no minutes last year finals, and thus far this series he has done nothing but having a good quarter in game 2. As long as Draymond Green is playing Bogut is not needed for this series. Bogut was sorely missed in game 5 with draymond out because without draymond and bogut, theres like zero interior defense for the warriors. The reason why Cavs won game 5 was because Bogut went out, the game was still super competitive up until Bogut went out, then they had zero interior defense. Now that Draymond will be back, missing him wouldnt be a factor at all.Comment -

#5forget bogeyman hes a non factor
cavs won cause kyrie shot 70%, if he shoots even 50% they might have lost. thats prob the only way they win the series if he does the same thing BOTH 6 & 7 and its longshot at best with draymond coming backComment -

#6To answer this question you have to consider who replaces him. Green doesn't replace him. McAdoo/ Ezeli/ Varejao do. That's a downgrade.
Kerr has been using McAdoo, but going forward with the stakes high I think he will choose Varejao. Easy choice.Comment -

#8Bogut non factor. Ezelia will take his place. Cleveland likes to go with small lineup would be disastrous if happened vs. OKC. GSW will still win convincinglyComment -

#9Golden state fans are delusional. Lol. First it didnt matter if draymond was out, now bogut doesnt matter either. Lol. Bogut was a great defender. His stats might not be up there, however his presence is felt. He blocks shots and eats up tristan thompson on the boards. Him being gone will be a big loss. The cavs win a very close game. My prediction would be because cavs win the paint point differential and the rebounding.Comment -

Green matters substantially more in this match up compared to Bogut.Comment -

#17Losing a big 7 footer to clog the lanes on d and work the boards is not a good thing
Warriors are still the favorites obviously but don't act like its a good thing your center is gone
He wouldn't have been playing if someone on the bench was better for what they needComment -

#22Wrong. I never said that green doesnt matter in this series. And you are referring to a series where kevin love and kyrie irving was not playing. Essentially not needing boguts interior defense that much because lebron was the only one scoring. Which means, change up the person guarding lebron. Start iggy at the 4, Green moves to the 5, leaving bogut the odd man out. That series honestly has nothing to do with this series. Now that love and irving are available, not having bogut will not work as easily. Now we have people that will drive to the rim (irving as compared to matthew dellavadova last season) and people that can post up as well as stretch the floor (love as compared to timogey mozgov last season). That interior defense will be needed. These are two very different series, so you cant compare the two at all.Comment -

#23Does it really matter? He's got a few big blocks in this series (his best series imo) but other than his presense has been largely anonymous this post season. Only real downside I see is it means Vareajo will maybe get more minutes than about 3, that guy has lost it badly thought he used to be a decent player.
If Green gets in foul trouble then it's an issue but tough to say that will happen especially with how the games are getting called. Hope the Cavs win though a game 7 would be nice but Bogut out doesn't give them a huge advantage imo. Not that my knowledge of matchups means anything though i.e none.Comment -

#27Lol just like all the delusion warriors bandwagons. Thinking they can just replace a player with anybody. No green, fine we got iggy. No bogut...fine we got green back. The cavs ate them up in the paint and on rebounding. Easy buckets.Comment -

#30They miss him because Ezeli is awful. Reminds me of Erik Dampier; decent rebounder/ shot-blocker but hands of stone. He will get paid well this summer, like Dampier did.Comment
