#5Pete Rose in Japanese means dumbfukk. The guy is banned from baseball for gambling against his team and all he cares is his stupid record.Comment -

Pete should be in the Hall of Fame regardless of what he did after his playing days. He earned that record as a player in the Major Leagues and it's the one that will stand. Fuk Ichiro and his pussy Japan league hits. Those fuk'in rag arms couldn't throw a fast ball if their sushi ass lives depended on it! And that's the only reason Ichiro has a high number of hits.Comment -

#12So you gonna chastise the guy for life because he made a mistake? Addiction and involvement with the wrong bookies is what fuk'ed him. You think he's the only athlete, manager, or owner to gamble on the sport they're involved in? He admitted it, said he was sorry and moved on.

#30Rose had 427 minor league hits in 3 seasons. they had a bit of a different classification system back then.
2 years of class A ball in 1960 and 1961 and one year of class D ball in 1962
this is interesting though
in 1961 in the Florida League playing for Tampa, Rose hit 30 fugging triples! 30!Comment -

#35Not sure why he feels the need to say anything. It's obviously not going to count in the MLB, but I guess his ego is hurt and I like Pete. Think he's been getting screwed, but he never helps his case.Comment
