Most of this is about assault. There have been a couple of rapes. The real problem they are having is that girls were dating the football players and they were getting beat up. They went to coaches and campus complaining and nothing was done.
So Baylor had a lot of players beating up on their girlfriends. The rapes were what caused them to go down.
They were protecting their best players from getting suspended for beating up their girlfriends. Doesn't go over nowadays. And if a couple of girls get raped, y0u are done.Comment -
Baylor and Briles could have survived a rape or even both rapes. What they could not survive was when people found out that there was lots of girls getting beat up and Baylor was overlooking everything and recruiting guys that they should have known that something might happen. They tried to cover for those guys when they did some things.

The girls mostly wanted to get players suspended seemingly.They didn't want the guys to get charged with a crime because they were their boyfriends or former boyfriends. But they did want something to happen.
But Baylor wanted to keep it hush hush and keep the guys playing. Biggest problem is they recruited a guy that had trouble at Boise and then he raped a girl. You put it all together and it shows Baylor didn't give a damn about the women on campus and that is what is bringing them down.Comment -
