Women like stability. Gambling/Poker isn't seen as stable. Mostly because they don't understand it. It also takes time away from the most important thing to them...themselves. There are outliers & exceptions. I've waged many a battle w/ Mrs Blazer in my poker career. She eventually caved and was okay with it, but it was some work.

Recently became single again telling the missus I gamble. To prove to her I was making coin id tell her my wagers in advance and try to be as transparent as possible but as you said blazer, most women prefer security ie wouldn't consider that working smart can actually get one somewhere as opposed to working hard...

This is why I don't generally tell my potentials that I gamble until at least 5 months into the rship...

All I have to say is don't play online roulette. Especially SBR Roulette. Test out 50 a spin on a certain colour. It will go 10 in a row every session against you. Love to own a casino and do that to my customers.

QUITTERS NEVER WIN. NOTHING WORSE THAN A QUITTER! If you make your own money and gambling on sports, poker, or fantasy sports is your thing, then like NIKE says "Just do it". As long as your bills aren't affected. Life is about having a good time with no regrets. Your spouse, girlfriend, shouldn't have a say in it. Just don't let it affect anyone but yourself (example---kids come first) Moderation in anything (except drugs-don't do drugs) is the key to life. I keep telling everyone. Focus on that credit. Don't let credit get involved where your vices are concerned (credit is important and never too late to improve or fix).

You should see some of the living conditions of the pros I've seen. 4 guys sharing a room out of a roach motel. Playing x-box and grinding 25nl on bovada to supplement their income. Guys living out of their cars showering whenever one in the group got a room comp. Guys moving to Mexico and made good money on stars while renting a $2000 a month house...with no furniture other than a bed and grinding station. What woman wants that. Poker players who have a girl usually have one for some other reason. Smart, charismatic, other jobs/business ventures they have, take care of themselves...rarely because they play poker.
