Same report said Celtics are long shots and the Mavs must be in play for one other star for him to consider them. He said the Rockets were a great possibility before the season but this past season really makes them a long shot now. There is also another crazy rumor of him teaming up with Conley and Horford and them playing in either Houston or Dallas together. The Mavs would have to clear some room but Houston has the flexibility to make it work. His inner circle said he will not consider the Lakers because of their lack of talent. Said if they had any sort of competing roster, that they would be in play bc he lives there in the off season and really loves the LA lifestyle.

If they don't produce he can opt out and hit a bigger payday when cap balloons in 2017. If he believes OKC can contend for the next 5-6 years he will sign with them for long term. An extra $30-$50 million in guaranteed contract money is nothing to sneeze at.

I don't see Houston as a viable team for him. Celts and Wizards have far more upside for him if he was to leave OKC.
