My bad warriors only won by 15 in game 1. Disregard.

Still, I don't think books change the line all that much unless there's an injury to a key player.

Warriors won by 30+ in Game 2 yet Game 3 line wasn't really that different from Game 2 line given the change in home court.

Some folks are not getting it. The games are not fixed per se. The refs who make the "right calls" in big playoff games get promoted and recognized by the higher powers in the league office. The word "recognized" here implies that they continue to keep getting the big games and do well in their looong careers as NBA referees. It is in their own best interest to make those "right" calls. Their job is only made easier by the fact that the NBA's foul-call rules are as subjective as they get in all of sports. Very similar to the NFL interference calls/no-calls to keep a game close for better TV ratings. After all, this is the entertainment industry. I had no play in Game 3 of the NBA Finals but I was laughing at the ref calls/non-calls in the first quarter of that game.

Former NBA referee, Tim Donaghy, took it to another level by not being satisfied with his NBA referee paycheck. The league did not like that.

This is because it is a trap line created by those brilliant oddsmakers who set the line. These oddsmakers are about 65-70% better at predicting the outcome of games than sports bettors (sharps and squares combined). They want you to bet on Golden State and most folks will fall for that line like chumps. You would think twice about betting on Golden State if they were bigger underdogs.

Nobody is above the game, but if you can think like them then you will not be fooled by them again.
