What has happened to this guy?

He used to dominate the low blocks, punishing guys on a nightly basis. His last five years in Minnesota he averaged double digits in rebounds, once as high as 15.2. He commonly put up 25+ points per night.

And now, all he does is stand behind the arc launching three-pointers, and gives little to zero effort on defense.

Embarrassing.

You can't trust these guys that don't win and elevate their teams. I wonder if DeMarcus Cousins is the same way, just a stat stuffer on a lousy team. Buyer beware.

Teams were facing MN knowing they were most likely going to win. Rubio isn't shooting, so the offense went through Love. You put Love up there against elite players and he cannot hang. He also seems to be content sitting back and getting shit on. Whether it's by the media or through cryptic social media posts or interviews by Lebron James. It's disappointing. You'd love to see the fire. Tonight was bad luck that he was clearly fouled and given a concussion. Continues to paint the picture that he is soft.

Love is just flat out slow. Basically he's too white. When he gets the ball on the block, it's like his feet are in wet cement. He was alright with the Wolves as a stat machine, but not a great fit with the Cavs.

It doesn't help that Golden State's front line are far too athletic and strong... Love cannot establish any good position down low. Guy is 6'10" and has to resort to fade-way jumpers in the paint... getting completely owned.

Went from first scoring option to third scoring option. Was never a terrifically efficient scorer

Free throw attempts half of what it used to be in his prime for the wolves. Used to account for 25-30% of his points in his prime years.

Fewest MPG since sophomore season.

That probably accounts for the drop off in production. Given the circumstances as well as the above I think 16 per game in scoring sounds about right.
