#51What are chances he just didn't want to go to war so made up religious convictions?
Hell, I'd do it.
Weird he picked a religion that is fully endorses executing gays and doing terrible things to women to the applause of liberal Americans though.Comment -

#56RIP Muhammad Ali. Dude had a great life, despite his illness, he never gave up fighting any challenge life threw his way. Exactly how real Champions live. Tough day for Louisvillians.
I'll never forget those classic Ali / Howard Cosell interviews. Cosell loved Ali and they were great friends, how many media people could you ever say were true friends with the athletes they interview.

#58The reality is that Liberals try to paint Islam as the religion of peace, when the majority of people who practice Islam treat women like dogs or support laws that treat women like dogs and support killing those who leave Islam and homosexuals.Originally posted by MadTigerDoes your theory make sense if you look at it in the context of his whole life, and what he showed himself to be day in and out?
No.
This is a liberal narrative. Islamic extremists are a problem, but so are normal muslims considering around half of them support the penalty of death for homosexuals, people who leave the religion, or even women who have the nerve to show their face in public.Comment -

#66Creed's tragic loss to Ivan Drago was an exhibition so that technically doesn't affect his W/L record. That being said, his only career loss was to the great Rocky Balboa and that bout went the full 15 rounds before Rocky won by a mere second in one of the greatest finishes in the history of the sport.Originally posted by DiggityDaggityDoApollo Creed

#67If people only fought in wars that personally impacted them, there would be no point to the draft at all.Originally posted by MadTigerNot mutually exclusive things. He simply said "Man, I ain't got no quarrel with them Viet Cong"

Maybe that's a good point. Maybe the draft is stupid. Maybe if America was ever in a real war, we shouldn't force 18 year olds to defend this country.
But acting like he had a just reason for dodging the draft is preposterous. He made millions in this country. If he was truly morally outraged enough to commit a crime and dodge a draft, he should have bolted America and everything America provided for him.Comment -
