    Texas Rangers
playing really good baseball against the top pitchers this year. I know the future has dropped recently, but look at what they have done against top 50 pitchers. I only pulled data if the top 50 pitcher resulted in a win or loss decision. Games determined by bullpens were omitted

    4/4- King Felix WIN
    4/9- Richards WIN
    4/14- Tillman WIN
    4/21- Keuchel WIN
    4/22- Quintana LOSS
    4/25- Eovaldi LOSS
    5/6 - Zimmermann WIN
    5/18- Hill LOSS
    5/22- Keuchel WIN
    5/29- Liriano WIN
    5/30- Tomlin WIN
    5/31- Kluber WIN

    Record: 9-3

I played them tonight. They were +155 even though Lewis has better numbers than Kluber so far this year. Not getting enough respect by the books.

Lewis usually has value I have noticed. Rangers have value most days their starting pitching has been very consistent.

Jon Daniels a fukkin genius, brings in Desmond after that terrible year he had last year on a 1 year 8 million and moves him to outfield.

Guey has responded by being our offensive mvp 1/3 of the way through the season, if prince fielder ever remembers how to hit this team could be very dangerous.

I'd think most teams would take Hamels, Darvish, Perez and Lewis and be happy with how
              much they're "lacking."

Darvish + Hamels is a pretty nasty 1-2 punch.

Lines even right now, I definitely prefer Hamels + Rangers to Bauer + Indians. Wouldn't bet Rangers past like -125 or -130 though

Yeah...Rangers now about even $ for tomorrow!
That huge line move scared me off from Rangers today...won't make mistake tomorrow.

I think the value here is that they have a good record against the top pitchers which is usually with a close to even or many times an underdog line. They will have other matchups with Felix Keuchel Walker etc throughout the season

Thanks man looking ahead and assuming the probables play out the way they are currently setup the Rangers face a top 50 pitcher in each of their next 4 series.

                            Walker v Darvish 6/3
                            Keuchel v Hamels 6/7
                            Hernandez v Lewis 6/11
                            Hill v Perez 6/14

Im a Rangers fan, have been my whole life, the Rangers have never really struggled against elite pitchers

It's always the Triple A callup making a spot start, or a guy coming into the game with a 1-7 record and an ERA north of 6 who will throw 7 innings of 2-hit shutout ball against the Rangers
