From a numbers perspective it is very difficult to come up with a reasonable prediction of GSW winning the game. Unsophisticated players using non predictive stats get OKC winning by around 7 points. The sharper the line, the higher the number. I have OKC winning by about 20 points in that same 222 to 224 point game (I have equal probability on both total numbers).

While it seems like it is very far off market, it is only one game and these discrepancies do occur.

The voracious public has made this a difficult line to set for GSW as they hit the upset moneyline while plenty of money sees value in the OKC favorite.

It's a bit of that Superbowl effect where many tickets are written on the upset, or the favorite to cover.

Otherwise, this line would grow.
