I once returned 10's of thousands of dollars, much of it cash, to an assistant who had left the bank bag in the food area at the twin towers near Avenue on the stars in Century City, in LA at her lunch time.

We worked in the same tower and she was pretty, thankful, and pretty thankful all wrapped in one.

I have returned many dogs to owners, even kept them for a couple of days while the owners were out of town. I've even taken a dog across town, following the tag on her collar, to a house where no one was home. The neighbors verified the dog and I jumped the fence, unlocked the gate from the inside, let there dog in, locked it up, then hopped out.

The neighbors thanked me but I never did meet the owners.
