#8well c.c. grew up in middletown ohio. it is definitely still a little racial there. jerry lucas and jaelyn marshall are from there.the town that is still segregated mostly. blacks on one side and hillbillies on the other.Lot of factories are dead or dying .mark twain always said cincinnati was 20 year behind america; well middletown is 20 years behind that.Knew chris and his brother butch growing up. My dad was his aunt and cousins foreman. He was always a nice guy but little stand offish. if he is racial it has a lot to do where and how he grew up.The klan is active til this day.Comment -

#9They are cutting back on talent salaries. Their spending on tv rights to nba, ncaa and nfl have caught up to them. Their business model is unsustainable in the current times for shareholder earnings so they have to make deep budget cuts. At the end of the day the on air personalities are replaceable.Originally posted by TheMoneyShotESPN cleaning house

Moss' knowledge of the game is 2nd to none. Carter has run his course on the network. He will land elsewhere. Lewis was horrible from day 1.Comment -

Strong.
Makes sense too. Still top-heavy. Please get rid of Neil and Stan, and all of the producers involved with their hour of the show.
This also helps explain all the women hires.
Game analysis getting more technical too. Chris and Ray can't hang there -- their strengths are motivational, after-school special type stuff. Randy will be a hoot.Comment -

#20It's a bit shocking Carter is gone. He put in a lot of hours on ESPN with football, Sports Center, and Mike and Mike. I have to think this http://thebiglead.com/2015/11/10/chr...al-harassment/ had something to do with ESPNs' decision.Comment -

#23It's sad to see that there is no seniority... or what's the word I'm looking for? Like... loyalty to your employees? It's absolutely insulting. Yes, 50%+ of these guys are horrible ON-AIR talent... but man... it's one SICK business world out there. Bastards.Originally posted by Ralphie HalvesStrong.

#25And they are a monopoly, so they could just do whatever they want, including letting mediocre talent stick around. They have kept people like Cohen/Ley/Levy around forever, so it does happen. Stuart Scott had a lifetime pass too.Originally posted by TheMoneyShotIt's sad to see that there is no seniority... or what's the word I'm looking for? Like... loyalty to your employees? #30Are they (the type of people that run the media) going to keep hiring Arab commentators and women to tell us about our American mens sports. Since we went to war with these Arab countries ESPN has went on an Arab hiring spree. Just another obvious _ew move. Just like they put the show GoldBERGS between The Middle and Modern Family and ending with Blackish. _ew world order!!! _=N LOL
