Kid is great but he can't bring team together. He has no patience.

#5Westbrook needs a coach that is not afraid of him. Why is pop so great? Guy is not afraid to get into Duncan Parker Ginobli and now Leonard and Aldridge. He finds ways to motivate them and if they fukk up they get benched.... Donnovan afraid. Brooks afraid.Cause Sleep is the Cousin of DeathComment -

#9He is fun to watch in person.
If they're not going to ever win a title, at least they'll be entertaining.
I think they brought in the wrong coach. This team isn't any better under Donovan. Nice out of bounds play out of the timeout with 18 seconds left down 4....it only took them 15 seconds to get a shot off.
You don't bring in a college coach to lead a team that is top 4 in the league and already a contender. Horrible move by the front office.Comment -

#10can't agree here, would take Westbrook on my team every day of the week.
the far bigger problem is OKC's horrific GM Sam Presti who continues to make terrible decisions for the franchise. when the whole world knew the Bulls were going to fire Thibs at the conclusion of last season, Presti decided he was smarter than everyone else and hired a college coach for a maxed-out roster trying to win a championship. if that's not bad enough, Presti's player personnel moves have been downright tragic as well.. just mind boggling what he's done in that area. the guy shouldn't have a job, yet has OKC on the verge of becoming a totally irrelevant bottom feeder come one year from now.Comment -

#14Im a westbrook fanboi
The guy gives it 110% every play. He can score 50, is a triple double machine, can actually play def, block shots, etc....
He's not as polished as KD, not as pure a scorer, but honestly, I think Westbrook brings more of a complete package compared to just about anyone else in the nbaComment -

#17Agree with Goat that he needs a tough coach who demands respect. Get this guy a Pop or Phil Jackson type of coach. But other than Pop, most the stars run the lockerroom, not the coach. Didn't Dwill get Jerry Sloan fired in Utah? DeMarcus nearly got Karl fired not even halfway through his tenure. LeBron basically runs his own teams and picks his coaches.Comment -
