Its primarily bcuz Money has destroyed the game of baseball. Handicap based upon whatever, makes no difference due to Apathy of players (Millionaires). Complete and Total lack of concern about winning or losing games... because they have alot of money. Their minds are on their Money and the Lifestyle that immense wealth brings, not on some stupid baseball game. Pittsburgh Pirates are a great example. They DO NOT CARE if they win or lose. Maybe Six Teams total have any genuine concern about winning a championship and at least 2 of those 6 teams only really care after the All Star Break. Baseball 'Cappers would do just as well if not better by simply flipping a coin on which team to back.

Problem of Apathy is most acute on teams with Venezuelans on the squad. Latinos/Blacks in general within MLB have achieved Wealth, Status. They want for nothing more. Fix Baseball by drastically cutting pay except for top performers, $$$$$$$$$$ come only when Production is seen. Only possible fix.
