Blues and Pens, I hope we get that matchup LB. I want to see the Blues bury this Dallas team on Monday. Sick of this no sense of urgency prevent defense garbage. but since Im taking the blues in game 6, they will lose and it will go back to Dallas.
As far as Blues being the best team in the league you have got to pump the breaks on that LB.
I still have yet to see a real killer instinct, and although I think they are a little better than San Jose, they won't win a Stanley cup against the Eastern Conference winner unless they learn to really put teams away. We will see how good they are. Can they close out Dallas in 6????? San Jose? Pens or Caps????? they have a long way to go.Comment -

It does have an impact. The Blues are not that much greater than Dallas with Seguin they might be even. Don't every pretend that Blues are a great team yet. They haven't proven anything.Comment -
They basically did that during the regular season and missed being the best team in the Western Conference by 2 points. Schwartz missed like the entire first half of the season and Steen missed a good portion of the second half. Steen is their best all around player, he plays every situation perpetually PP, SH, vs. other team's top lines and based on how he's performed since coming back from injury he's either not 100% healthy or he's not on proper conditioning now cause he's a bit off. Hasn't done much and looks slower than usual. If they can get him going along with what they're getting from Tank, Moose, the Captain, the top 2 D lines and the 3rd line, they'll be hard to stop. No doubt Dallas misses Seguin but other teams including the Blues and Pens, both still alive in the playoffs have missed key players all season and still find ways to win.Originally posted by l7ustin
The real problem for Dallas is that shoddy D they roll out. The Blues all series long have been able to easily penetrate the Dallas zone up the middle and get quality scoring chances in the slot and crease area. It's like the Dallas D are afraid to block shots or hit anybody in the middle of the ice. Maybe that 105 MPH slapper Parayko is firing has them second guessing. I can't believe they haven't adjusted yet. The announcers have been mentioning it every game so far and they do nothing to correct it.Comment -
