Any thoughts on Lani? Already won a race with both 15 and 16 horses no matter how bad the competition is that's hard to do. Havnt watched his last win in Dubai yet but he has some of the best breading for the distance.

dont listen to negative people playing horses and saying theres no chance . I hit 2 pick 5s this early belmont season already ..just 2 singles and alls rest .. 4/30 had fav in 1st and 4th laid over fields wheeled other legs and pais over 1700 for 1 . I like the Champ from 2 year old season and Mr. Romans horse .

Nyquist is the best horse in the field and with a decent trip should win very easily.
My price play will be Danzig candy and Espinoza going for the 3 peat with Whitmore.

The problem with the Derby is so much traffic with 20 horses running. If Nyquist can get a clean break and be in the top third after that first turn then he's good. The pace setters cut him off or he gets sent wide then he might wear down. That closing 1/4 of a mile is brutal. 13 might be too wide.

I just think Nyquist beyer rating (top was 94) and the 20 horse field will not sit well for him. Im aware this is probably a slow field anyway but 24 horses have entered the derby undefeated, only 7 have won....heres my board from 3rd to 1st.....

Destin......was bumped at TB Derby and still won with a 100 beyer....hasnt raced in 7 weeks so a bit of a concern but hard to question Pletcher.

Creator.....Athletic Horse who won the Arkansas Derby. 96 Beyer rating in that race.

Mohaymen......arguably best 2 year old and was surprised didn't race in the breaders cup.....was 2 mil dollars at auction so horse has the bloodline....won with speed at 1 1/8. I get that he lost to Nyquist in the FLA Derby but just think this time will be different.....


Am also gonna thow a little on Lani because of the odds and the fact the horse has already won at 1 1/8 & 1 3/8. Plus something funny going on with the way the japs are training horses.......good luck to everyone..

Was out at the track yesterday and they had a few of the horses in the paddock walking around. Creator is a gorgeous horse, i have no idea how this race will go but I'm putting a few on him. Wide open this year in my opinion, I'd love to hit that superfecta one time
