Durant and Westbrook don't compare to Wade and Lebron

Both monsters but they just don't know how to play together. I've been waiting since they lost in the finals to Miami for them to mature together and dominate.... This is 2 of the top 5 players in the nba on one team. That rarely happens in nba history. Pippen wasn't even a top 5 player in the league at any point. Wade and Bron were, Shaq and Kobe were. Honestly that's about all I can think about.

Wade and Lebron is the best comparison.... when these guys were together, the first 2 years in particular, they made shitty playoff teams look foolish. In the regular season you see them clowning around and throwing oops to each other, cutting, just making plays for each other. You never see Westbrook and Durant do that. These guys just don't understand what it takes. They could have been the best duo in nba history, but that window is closed now.

NBA teams are about pieces of the puzzle. Westbrook and KD are two ISO players. In the past other teams either trade one or make one the sixth man to split em up to get the most out of them.

If you had Steve Nash or go back another 10 yrs, John Stockton, instead of Westbrook who is a trip double machine and much better stat stuffer, would OKC have a better record? Would they go further in playoffs?

The smart move for Durant is to resign with OKC for one season and then figure it out in 2017 when cap gets pumped with tv money. Warriors would have to ship Barnes, Bogut, Iggy to get KD.
