i had to put a sump pump in backyard with hose to keep my house being flooded. Neighbor 4 houses down was under water. since i moved from the nati it has flooded 3 times.

I hate to say it but we very rarely ever had major weather issues prior to Katrina people coming to Houston. Once they got here, we've had major flooding, major droughts, Zika mosquito's, etc. I don't know who those folks pissed off but Mother nature has been following them wherever they go. Katrina people went to Oklahoma... Major tornadoes, they went to parts of NY... Hurricane Sandy.

I woke up yesterday to my street being lakefront. I spent all day yesterday ripping out new carpet (<3 months) in my Den. PITA
