Believe it or not, Brees had better stats last year than the year before that when he had Jimmy Graham. He is far from washed up. If the Saints can get that running game going, he'll be alright.

The saints aren't that far away, there quietly adding needed wholes to there defense.

James Laurnitus and Nick Fairley should be pretty good additions. They also had a very good rookie class last year. I can see them going 9-7 or 10-6

Year in and year out the Saints have a terrible secondary . Best 3 players in their secondary in the last 50 years are Tommy Myers, Sammy Knight, and Dave Waymer. Pretty pathetic if you ask me !

A die hard....Brees is FAR from washed up though...defense needs work (of course) and TRUE the defense is quietly being "put together" in the off season. looking at their schedule..I'm confident with an 11-5 season this year, possibly even better than that! Good Luck to whoever your team is....STAY AWAY from the Panthers (they going nowhere this coming year)
