I never do although it seems fun as just an action play. Does anybody ever bet it seriously?

Sometimes depends on the number and pitchers involved , just mostly for action though

Today looks like an under to me, maybe I'll throw a unit down for fun.

An under on the Grand Salami sounds super stressful lol.

What's Grand Salami bet? Homeruns combined over/under a certain number?

Total runs for all games combined. I was wondering if people play it much. Kinda liking the under tonight, even though BA has a point that it is a stress-inducing play, lol.

I would think a Grand Salami bet would be if there will be a grand slam for the day

I don't think Bovada offers that bet. Never seen it on their website.

Do it with NFL often, mostly on the over side since there is generally more upside potential than downside that way

Adding up the current totals would give you 115

Does that mean we have an OVER type day in baseball?

Looks like over has won despite two 1-0 games. Interesting.

Bet on it in MLB many many many times. I had a pretty nice streak at another site of wins in a row a few years back. Just sucks when a game gets called early due to weather when you already have the over won.

One time I bet the MLB Salami over and it got cancelled(all games must go 8.5 innings) because of a rain shortened Red Sox game, and the Salami went over without the score of that game even being needed. Then the next day I had a pretty heavy bet on the over in the early Red Sox make-up game, and the over hit easily by the 5th inning, but the game got called again due to rain. Got burned twice on the same game.

A couple of years ago, I tracked the daily runs total on an Excel spreadsheet so I could see whatever trends that developed. I don't think there are definable patterns — at least I didn't examine the results that closely, to see if the "over" was a likely outcome if the top run-scoring teams were playing at home, for example — but if you wait until you get the same result three or four days in a row and then bet the other way, that became nicely profitable. I did this for three or four years in baseball and hockey. I liked this because it was easy to track and didn't require a lot of in-depth handicapping.

Well, I'm 0-1 all-time now with this and I cannot say I enjoyed pulling for that under. Lost it by like 8 runs.

I feel like I (too late) remembered a possible trend of Fridays being high-scoring, and Sundays being lower scoring, like perhaps due to ballplayers partying on Saturday nights??? I may try the under again tomorrow.
