I just tried to reset my password as required. Ended up getting locked out. Fukk them. I don't need the aggravation. I'm not even going to bother trying to reset.

I got locked out too, had to get on live chat. Somethings fishy though having to all the sudden change personal information on every account. I pray this book doesnt vpbecome another statistic whe its all, said and done. I did however make a deposit today anyhow.

Copied from Redemption Rules on 5Dimes website:

Scanned copy of the front side of the card used to deposit (if this was your funding method).

I did not send a copy of the back of my card with no problem. Not sure why you were asked to do that.

                      Joe.

Is it normal to have to reset the password on 5D multiple times in a short period of time? I've made thousands of bets on that site and never had to do it and now all of a sudden the past 3 days, I've got that reset password message 3 times. When I do it, then everything is fine and I can access my account again and bet but then like 24 hours later I get the same message again. How many times do they want me to reset my password? It's getting annoying, I'm just trying to bet and not be hassled by this. Does this happen to other people too?

                          Hi guys,

We spoke with 5Dimes - it is a standard security measure for accounts to periodically update their password. Rather than forcing it on all users every X amount of days, it is an automatic process that runs on a case by case basis. There's nothing to worry about, just update your credentials and keep in mind safe password practices. Management recommended players perform this reset on a PC. SBR listed some suggestions on how to keep your sportsbook accounts secure in this article last year. This applies to all sites, especially where you hold funds such as online banking. Use strong passwords and change them every so often.

As for the OP's inquiry of providing ID, this is a standard KYC measure as other posters have noted, especially when depositing with plastic. To read more about why KYC is important and how it helps protect you in the long-run, read this article.

into my account unless I send them a Photo ID. Tried to take my money out and they said since I put in with a Debit card they will need a Photo ID of it 1st. Something ain't right and I'll be damned if I'm going to send them photo ids of anything. Guess I'll call it a loss.
well YEH, you gotta show PHOTO ID.....when using a debit card and requesting a cash-out....at ANY online site (where u been?)

I would get onto live chat or email them and ask about this.

Could mean there is some sort of security issue being auto detected on your account.

                              Had to reset and verify.
                              Procedures have changed.
                              Smells fishy...I've been winning.

i thought that very odd too...claiming they need a clear scan of the BACK of my credit card?! it isn't proper, even if many may try to get away with it! i am with 3 books, all at least A rated, all from credit card, and none require to see the BACK of my card.
and it certainly is NOT necessary for any REPUTABLE books to have a copy of the BACK of your credit card where your TOP SECRET 3-digit code is located! danger Will Robinson!! NEVER allow that!
u could cover up the 3-digit security code with tape first then go ahead and scan it for email. if they gripe about that ---> improper service/scam! run away. fast!
if u would like to believe it is safe to send a clear scan copy of the front AND back of your credit card (exposing your 3-digit security code) then please send me those 2 copies -- and i will prove to u very quickly why that is silly. oh, and i promise to return all the money i steal, ooops, i mean "borrow" (wink, wink) from your card.
