    MLB TV Package
I was talking to a co-worker about buying the subscription when I get home. He tells me to check eBay first. People sell their sign-in info for a fraction of the price. So I just bought the package for $24.99 because that's how I roll. He messaged me the login within minutes. Pretty good deal of any one is debating on the package.

lol no way. They say in fine print if u share or giveaway password u are subject to paying full price for each one u give out and also will be taken to court. All they do is check the IP addresses. I'm reporting this to MLB now sorry I have a conscious

Pretty sure you can't have 10, unless they changed it recently.
I buy it every year and only give it to 3 or 4 people and there were times a couple years ago I had to have one of them logoff because it wouldn't let me on.

I thought about that as well. His auction showed 3 already purchased it. And one already left positive feedback. I'm about to watch the Miami game so it's the real deal.

why would anyone pay anything for this?

Kodi + Pro Sport = 720p feeds for each game

yep. i highly recommend people also pick-up a cheap HD OTA antenna for local channels and then just use Kodi (or Plex) for everything else. know a few people locally who've been going this route for 3-4 years and they got me interested back then in learning about it.

i like adding the OTA antenna because it provides the cleanest signals for CBS, FOX, ABC, and NBC games. none of that over compressed junk that cable sometimes does.

                                    I'm confused about this....

                                    1. Wouldn't it be better if you purchased this from a Cable supplier or DirecTV for 1080p resolution?

                                    2. I wouldn't imagine you get 1080p from the MLB website?

there isn't a single network that broadcasts sports in 1080p, much less a single cable/satellite provider that would be able to support broadcasts in 1080p. they simply don't have the bandwidth to do so.

sports are filmed either in 720p or 1080i. and due to flat panel refresh rates, 720p sources actually look better than 1080i because 720p handles motion far better than interlaced garbage.

the only available 1080p content is Blu Ray disc (or streaming in 1080p). but this is for movies and select tv series only.

of course there is now some very select UHD 4K (2160p) content available via streaming (Netflix, Amazon, Vudu, Hulu, etc). or, you'd have to buy a new UHD Blu Ray player (along with new UHD discs) to play 4K content.

but sports have been stuck in the mud with 720p or 1080i for over a decade now.

hopefully ESPN/ABC will soon step-up and become the first broadcasters of 4K which would force other networks to follow suit. of course cable/satellite providers would then have to make major upgrades as well.

to get a better idea of just how terribly behind the USA is with media infrastructure, Japan is now broadcasting in 8K and will soon start testing 16K.

I went ahead and paid the $109 on line for the year. Also paid $49 for the minor league package. I've just learned from past experiences that, at least for me, its best to just have a piece of mind, and do the legal thing.

Did you get that legal notice from Dish network too?? I did.

The thing is, it's only $109. It's the best deal out there. Compare it to other leagues and if you're gambling and can't afford that.....give up.
