Great bet. Wings are built for the playoffs. Lightning have given the Wings some trouble with Bishop in the past but their offense will be too much to handle in the playoffs. They're too deep and have too much speed this year. Datysuk and Zetterberg are finally healthy entering the playoffs for the first time in several years. Datysuk is a top 3 player in the league come playoff time.

I don't pay attention to regular season stats. The Red Wings players like Zetterberg and Datysuk are a lethal combination and one of the best in the league, don't care what people say about their age or their slippage in the regular season. When it's time...in the playoffs...these guys show up. We took the lightning deep last year with a worse team. Lighntning went on to the cup finals. Also that year we had the Hawks down 3-1....didn't the hawks win the cup that year? Red Wings are a completely different team in the playoffs. More so than any team in the NHL save for maybe the Kings and Blackhawks.
